My name is Tony Dwi Susanto, you can call me Tony.
I am a researcher in Technology Adoption, eGovernment, Mobile Technology (especially SMS technology), and Information Systems. Currently (2008-2011) I am doing my PhD at School of Informatics & Engineering, The Flinders University of South Australia under Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) Scholarship. In 2007, I worked as Research Assistant at King Saud University (KSU) – Saudi Arabia; in 2005-2006, I worked as Visiting Researcher and Tutor at Flinders University; and in 2003, I was a representative of Indonesia in IATSS Forum Program in Japan.
Now, My PhD research is about the adoption of SMS-based e-government services. I am is one who believes that instead of Internet the government in developing countries should promote and focus on delivering public services through the more popular, familiar, and affordable chanlle: SMS. By 2008, I have published 6 papers in SMS-based e-government topic.
